Willi Carlisle Columbus Concert reviews
A wonderful sound but the seats were poor
Despite the top-notch music and production, our experience at the Paramount was marred by our seating disappointment, even after paying for the priciest seats. Positioned at the extreme right near the front of the theater, we faced a hindrance in viewing due to a large speaker at the stage's edge, blocking around 30% of the stage. The performers were visible only when standing together at the front, as their spread-out formation hindered our enjoyment of their performance. It wasn't until intermission that we noticed a second set of drums at the side of the stage. Furthermore, the talkative theater personnel seated to our right proved to be a distraction during the production, leading me to lodge a complaint with management at intermission. Luckily, they quieted down for the second half of the concert. The intermission saw many people shifting seats, allowing us to relocate towards the center rows, significantly enhancing our view and enjoyment for the concert's latter part.
